Dr Katharyn Mumby
I am the Founder and Director of New Pathways. My extensive experience in NHS, academic, and charitable settings is at the heart of my clinical work, teaching and research. You can expect a high-quality evidence-based service, respectful of your needs.
I provide online Speech and Language Therapy for adults with communication difficulties, based on a wide range of knowledge and expertise, including support for carers and other professionals. I work holistically, so I combine impairment-based approaches with person-centred goal setting.
I have a PhD in communication after stroke (focusing on aphasia and apraxia of speech), and a Masters qualification in dysphagia (swallowing problems). My therapy is based on a long clinical career, breadth of experience and a special interest in acquired neurological conditions, which has been the focus of my research and commitment.
